Just Today I transfer my magento website from one server to another fronetend everything working fine but when I am trying to open admin of Magento I am getting Message “Error 404 not found”

So I have tried many soultion and not able to solve at last I got the solution and that will help anyone who face same problem.

Just simple solution you need to run query on your database.

– Open PhpMyAdmin
– Go to your database
– Click SQL
– Run the following SQL Query:

SET FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS=0;
UPDATE core_store SET store_id = 0 WHERE code='admin';
UPDATE core_store_group SET group_id = 0 WHERE name='Default';
UPDATE core_website SET website_id = 0 WHERE code='admin';
UPDATE customer_group SET customer_group_id = 0 WHERE customer_group_code='NOT LOGGED IN';
SET FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS=1;

After Executing the sql don’t forget to delete your cache and session folder data.

i.e
YOURSTOREPATH/var/cache/ Delete all files from this folder
YOURSTOREPATH/var/session/ Delete all files from this folder
Please comment if above solution help you.
